Your Right to Delete
You can request deletion of your Soul Surferz account and the personal data we hold about you at any time, for any reason. This page tells you how to make that request, what we will delete, and how long it will take.
How to Request Deletion
Email support@soulsurferz.co with the following:
- Subject line: Data Deletion Request
- The email address tied to your account
- The name of the app or service (VibeSesh, Smush, Gleamr, Mindara, VEX, or “all”)
- If you signed up with Sign in with Apple, the relay email address Apple shows in your Apple ID settings is enough
- If you connected to us through Facebook Login, your Facebook display name and the Facebook user ID shown in your Facebook account settings (optional but speeds up the lookup)
You don't need to give a reason. We will not ask you to justify the request.
What We Delete
When we process your request, we permanently delete or irreversibly anonymize:
- Your account and authentication identifiers
- Your profile information and saved preferences
- Any content you created or uploaded — affirmations, prompts, photos, voice recordings, game responses, messages
- Your usage history and analytics events tied to you
- Any data received via Facebook Login or the Meta Graph API (Facebook user ID, name, Page tokens, and any other granted scopes)
- Support correspondence tied to your account
What May Be Retained
A small amount of information may need to be retained even after a deletion request, but only as long as required:
- Subscription and purchase records held by Apple — these are controlled by Apple under the App Store's policies, not by us
- Records we are required to keep by law (for example, tax or fraud-prevention obligations)
- Anonymized or aggregated information that can no longer be associated with you
Processing Time
We process deletion requests within 30 days of receipt. We will send you a confirmation email once your data has been removed from our active systems. Backup systems are rotated on a schedule, so residual copies are overwritten in the normal course of operations.
Revoking Facebook Access
In addition to (or instead of) emailing us, you can revoke any Facebook Login or Meta Graph API access you previously granted to a Soul Surferz app or tool at any time, directly from Facebook:
- Open Facebook → Settings & privacy → Settings
- Go to Apps and Websites
- Find the Soul Surferz entry and click Remove
Revoking access in Facebook stops new data from being shared with us, but does not delete data we already received. To delete what we already have, email us using the steps above.
Reinstallation Is Not Recovery
Deletion is permanent. Reinstalling an app or signing back in with the same email after a deletion will create a new, empty account. We cannot recover deleted data.
